TA was founded in 1980 and has steadily grown to offer services that now range from relatively small and local plant based projects to large turn-key corporate initiatives that include not only the project management and technical delivery, but the fabrication of process equipment, installation of the process related equipment, installation of full packaging lines, as well as the leveraging of our in-house install group that is comprised of dozens of electrical and mechanical install personnel. Our projects range in the thousands of investment dollars to the tens of millions.

Our “employee owned culture” provides an inherent continuous improvement mentality on our business systems, design principles, and our overall project delivery. TA began small, performing plant based projects for the pulp and paper industry. These initial successes, albeit rather small, won the confidence of our first key customers who we still enjoy doing business with to this day. With solid business principles and a simple but powerful mission statement, “alignment of objectives and excellence in execution” TA began to thrive and now 30 years later serves industries across many sectors including Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Public School Systems, Wastewater, Breweries, and other consumer products divisions from 8 engineering locations that reach out across North America and internationally. Our focus remains primarily in the consumer products division and telecommunications market and our success has been driven by repeat business and a careful and selective approach in the growth of our customer portfolio, and recently, by the addition of new industrial project services through our fabrication division and our installation division.
Our company proudly employs just fewer than 400 of the best engineers, design resources, and installation craft in our markets and we make it a business priority to proactively seek additional highly talented individuals on a daily basis. We have maintained our own recruiting department since our company’s inception and this recruiting group is solely dedicated to the continuous search for new talent to add to the already impressive group supporting our project work.
TA offers world class system integration and maintains partner status with several of the most prominent integration software solution providers in North America. We house electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, structural engineers, controls engineers, packaging engineers, piping and process designers, cad (2d and 3d) resources and a myriad of project support personnel such as project managers, construction managers, schedulers, and administrative support personnel. We promote professional registration and have P.E.’s on staff ready to assist where sealed drawings are required and we are seeking to expand our registrations throughout the United States.
Our fabrication division, TA Process Systems, LLC was founded in 2009 and offers a wide array of process fabrication solutions from mixing and blending, valve matrix solutions, CIP solutions, tank/pump/instrumentation skid applications, to just about any stainless steel skid fabrication or installation solution your process and/or project may require. TA Process Systems are fabricated in a 26 thousand square foot facility just outside of Atlanta in Kennesaw, Georgia. Our Systems division offers full 3-d rendering capabilities and stands ready to perform custom fabrication solutions for a wide range of process applications. This group is also capable, and has a wide range of experience, in the installation of these systems and can support these installations both electrically and mechanically.
Founded in 2007, TA Services Group, LLC is the electrical installation arm of our company supporting many of our industrial and commercial clients. Properly licensed and insured, we have carefully selected talented and experienced leadership for this division who well understand the critical role of a reliable, cost effective, safety conscious, and customer focused install provider. This division started with these first few vital resources combined with a basic guiding principle: to perform up to the expectations that our customers most assuredly hold, and rightfully so, based on the high standards our core business of engineering had set long ago. Holding tight to this principle led to initial project installation success and our Services Group has continued to follow the proven TA model by building on those initial successes one customer and one project at a time. Today, with dozens of electrical and mechanical install personnel on staff, TA is well positioned to perform installation work on all sizes of projects and this business is now a core and quality driven offering to a growing customer base.
TA invites our customers, existing and new, to engage us to offer any or all of the aforementioned services. From allocating temporary technical personnel through our temporary staffing division, to a full turn-key project application, TA, through carefully constructed business operations, has held true to its “alignment of objectives” principle by allowing our customers to use whatever level of service their project may require. We believe this offers a tremendous value and the in-house nature of our services and deliverables demonstrates daily that we are driving out inherent losses where multiple players on a single project are used. Our engineers, fabricators, and installers are close coupled, all employee owners, and have unfettered access to each other so issues or challenges are worked directly, independent of the customer or an outside party, promoting a healthy teamwork environment and a “get the job done” attitude that brings real and tangible value to the project, the customer, and to the bottom line of both TA and client.
Finally, the leadership of TA, as well as our associates, clearly understands that the business environment is competitive and that there are many companies who boast of services and offerings the same or similar to those we offer. And to be sure, there are many competent and worthy competitors. This is a fact of business life. Many perform engineering. Others perform installation. There are fabrication facilities throughout the country. Some have all these things in-house but most do not so we must do them all and do them exceedingly well and of course, cost competitively. No doubt, we meet that objective and consider that the baseline for acceptable performance.
In order to thrive and not just survive in the current and future business environment there must be a difference maker. Ironically, we find that difference maker when we look back to the very beginning and refocus on the core business philosophies that secured the success of TA before the first project was won. The words on this website are simply that…….words. We hope at a minimum they give a sense of how seriously we take what we do and how protective of our clients trust we truly are. We know that we must perform, deliver, exceed expectations, and ensure every project opportunity, no matter the size, receives that due care.
